Bodyfit KC
How the Bodyfit KC mobile app collects, uses, and protects your information.
We collect what it takes to run your gym experience and track your workouts: your name, email, phone number, and the sets/reps/weight you log. We never sell your data. It's stored with Supabase, our database provider, only your gym's Coaches and friends you choose to share achievements with can see any of it. You can request deletion of your account and data any time from the Profile tab.
- No advertising, no data brokers, no selling your information.
- Your workout history is visible only inside your gym, to the coaches managing you and any friends you add.
- Delete your account any time: Profile → Delete Account.
Who this covers
This policy covers the Bodyfit KC mobile app (will be noted in this document as the "App"), operated for Bodyfit KC gym members and staff. It does not cover the bodyfitkcmo.com website, which may have its own policy.
Information we collect

We do not collect payment information, precise location, or contacts from your device.
Who can see your data
- You, always.
- Owners and Coaches at your gym can see your workout history and goals, so they can coach you. Can also view email and phone numbers for communication
- Friends you connect with in the App can see achievements you've hit and react to them
- Persons outside Bodyfit KC we do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
Service providers we use
These companies process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments. None of them may use your data for their own purposes.

Your rights and account deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the App. This immediately signs you out after confirmation and locks the account. Your data is then permanently deleted within 30 days.
If you'd rather not use the in-app option, email us at bodyfitkc@gmail.com and we'll process the same request manually.
Data retention
We store your data for as long as your account is active, so your workout history stays available to you and your coaches. If you delete your account, we remove it per the timeline above.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted by row-level security, so a gym member can only ever reach their own data and the data their gym's staff or friends are permitted to see. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security for our service providers.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above and notify active members through the App.
